Cookie Policy
JigsawPuzzlet uses only strictly necessary cookies — the minimum required to make the site function. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any cross-site tracking technology.
What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by a website you visit. It lets the site remember information about your visit — like whether you're logged in — across page loads and sessions.
Cookies We Use
Both cookies are marked HttpOnly (inaccessible to JavaScript), SameSite=Lax (not sent on cross-site requests), and Secure (only sent over HTTPS).
Cookies We Do NOT Use
- Google Analytics or any other analytics platform
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Third-party fonts that set cookies (we load Google Fonts via CSS, which does not set cookies)
- Any persistent fingerprinting or cross-site tracking technology
Do I Need to Accept Cookies?
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is legally required. These cookies are essential for the site to work — without the session cookie you cannot log in, and without the CSRF token your form submissions will be rejected for security reasons.
If you block all cookies in your browser settings you can still play puzzles as a guest, but you will not be able to log into your account or save scores to leaderboards.
How to Control Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies via your browser settings. Here are links to the relevant help pages for popular browsers:
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy if we ever change the cookies we use and will revise the "Last updated" date above accordingly.
